Poonam is a licensed Physiotherapist in Ontario with over 18 years of experience.

She worked extensively in Acute care settings in super-specialty hospitals like Asian Heart Institute and Lilavati hospital and research centers in Mumbai, India.

She worked full-time at St. Michael’s hospital with Adult Cystic Fibrosis team for 5 years in Toronto.

Currently, she works at Vaughan Cortellucci hospital in Vaughan as an Acute care therapist in the Vent-rehab Program. Her primary role is to rehabilitate patients  and wean them from long term ventilation.

She joined Yorkdale wellness clinic last year to cater to clients who need Pulmonary rehabilitation/Airway clearance services at the community level. She is very passionate about helping clients with respiratory issues.

When she is not working, she enjoys exercising in her home gym. She also enjoys spending time with family!
